“How do you regain motivation when you feel you are losing it mentally and keep falling off track and slipping off the plan”

The most important first step is realising you are human and not getting sucked into the expectation of needing to be perfect or else being deemed a “failure”. The health and fitness industry has created this impression and expectation and also keeps promoting speed with all the various new diets, detoxes, gimmicks, potions, pills etc. Being human means that you are going to fall off the wagon sometimes. It is inevitable no matter how disciplined you are. I sometimes do while not often but I do.
Also important is that you realise that what has happened has happened and there is nothing you can do about it. What´s done is done. You need to focus on that which you can control which is what you do next and what you do in the future. So put your energy and time into this. Keep reminding yourself of your goals and your whys. Remember you are either moving forward or going backwards. Noone stays in the middle. It is not possible. So why would anyone want to get worse? Remind yourself of this. Take action consistently and no matter how small the step move forward.
