Stress Is Necessary For Growth But Your Reaction To It Is Key

Stress is one of those things that only has negative energy associated with it. However stress has a positive side and there are both good and bad stress situations. Stress is necessary for growth but your reaction is the key.

If you lived a life void of any form of stress it would be a life void of growth and progress. That’s not what you’re designed for. As much as we brand stress bad, at a cellular level you are growing or dying, hence you need a certain level stress for growth. It’s getting the balance right that matters and most importantly your reaction to stressful situations as it’s that which potentially leads to negative impact.

You grow from stress. When you exercise you stress the body but look at the benefits. When you learn a new skill that’s positive stress. When you test yourself in any way physically/mentally it’s positive stress. Making any dreams reality will incur stress. With regard to “bad” stress situations your reaction is key. It can trigger heightened stress levels, negative hormone reaction and destructive comfort reactions. That’s a choice as your reaction decides this. So it’s not stress that’s the issue. It’s a necessity in life. Focus on improving your reaction to it.
