Start Acknowledging The Positive Actions You’ve Taken Instead Of Hammering Yourself On What You’ve Got Not

Do you dwell on all the things you feel you could be doing ? Could have completed by now? Routines/lifestyle habits that you could be showing more commitment to? Now how about shifting your mindset towards what you have done. Start acknowledging the positive actions you’ve taken instead hammering yourself on what you’ve not. There will always be more you can do and could have done. That’s life. However what matters most is that you’re further along than you were, you’ve given it your best and shown good attitude. While it’s important to always look to improve it’s just as important to never forget where you started and what you’ve accomplished. I always stress that ongoing progress is a balancing act between patting yourself on the back when you’ve done something positive but also slapping yourself on the wrist when you fall off the wagon or procrastinate too much. Don’t do either too hard. Just enough that they are acknowledged. There’s no benefit to getting too high on your own supply or in hammering yourself so you feel like shit and like a failure. Gain energy from what you’ve accomplished and keep taking forward action.
