If You’re Bullshitting The Person In The Mirror You’re In Trouble

Pride and ego can be our worst enemies and cripple our chances of progress and attaining happiness. Too often we tell “little white lies” to “save face” and hide something or tell people what they need to hear. Too often we make excuses or join the blame game that so many love to play. However if you’re bullshitting the person in the mirror you’re in trouble. The only way to true progress in life is in being 100% open and honest with yourself about how you’re leading your life. There’s nowhere to hide because reality will illustrate your decisions, actions and behaviours no matter what you do. If you want more do more. If you want different then take action to make things different. Be honest with that person in the mirror. Making excuses and playing the blame game is just weak. It avoids action taking. It avoids discipline and consistency. It avoids tackling challenges head on. It prevents you having the life experience you could have. Don’t bullshit the person in the mirror. You can’t fool them. They know when you’re being honest. Carpe dium.
