How critical are you of yourself? How demanding are you of yourself? How often do you judge yourself in a negative fashion? Do you give your best each day? Doing YOUR best is all you can expect and demand of yourself. Life is challenging. Life is demanding. Life can truly be a bitch at times. That’s just life. You’re going to have days you feel motivated and full of oomph just as much as you’ll have days you’ll be totally unmotivated and even getting out of bed is a struggle. That’s life. What you control is how you react. You control your attitude around everything. Doing your best will look different on different days. Society has conditioned us to demand an unattainable bar of ourselves because it’s one where we perceive that we are never good enough. Bad days are not acceptable. This is dangerous ground for mental health and is bullshit anyway. Being human you’re an emotional being and you’ll be effected by many things. This determines your mood and motivation. On any day just be committed to doing YOUR best. It’s all you can expect and demand of yourself.
